THIONVILLE

A couple comes to Thionville in Lorraine, to report on a news item:
the suicide of the former Mayor, Jean-Marie Demange, which was preceded by the murder of his mistress.
Their relationship is brought to an abrupt end due to their conflicting views of the case.
When she decides to remain in Thionville alone, the woman becomes involved with a reporter from the local newspaper.
They become lovers until she discovers that he holds links to the former Mayor.
She attacks him and it is feared that she may kill him…
